This park in specific is very unique because it belongs to the city, this course offers two incredible courses that are open to the public: the Harding Park golf course and the Fleming. Both of these courses represent a challenge for both the pros and the casual golfers.

The scenery in the park is jaw dropping, since there are towering Cypress trees and there is a small lake, called Merced. Harding Park was built 90 years ago. Yeah it’s that old, in actuality the park opened to the general public on July 18, 1925. And it was named after the 29th president of the United States of America.

The course covers 7,169 yards and 163 acre, the par is 72; the park peaked in popularity during the 20’s when it was finished, the designers of this park were Sam Whiting and Willie Watson but it sharply fell in popularity as time went by. On October 6th, 2005, though, the park bounced back while hosting WGC-American Express Championship, its first PGA Tour since 1969.

It’s been a tough road for the park, and yet the park itself has managed to stay afloat since it specializes in creating memorable events. Let’s say you want to organize a luncheon, ball, business fundraising event and/or business meeting.
Then look no further. Harding’s Park championship golf course with an expansive 20,000 square foot clubhouse that serves as a picturesque location for special events and meetings.. What makes this park so unique is not only its trees but the city that this park calls home; San Francisco is not only a city of beauty, but of art and culture and also some of cool sights.
